~ ~ The forums have a great variety of topics covered, from the standard rules and announcements, to daily news, reborning topics, ebay, even members pets & family. So it is not just a place where you can only talk about reborning, there are sub-forums for many topics of interest,as we dont just spend all our life doing our artform! We strive to keep the forums a fun and most importantly friendly place to be, its not just a forum,its a reborning community. As you can see from the map below (visits are marked with orange circles) we have visitors and members from across the globe. Members are riseing, and we have 320 members ,and growing everyday. Visitors to the site have been steadily increasing, as you can see from the graph below, which shows the last few months traffic in  Jan 2006 which was our first  good month of that year,and it was only half way through Jan when this snapshot of traffic levels was taken.   As this is a English speaking forum, posters are requested to post in the English language at all times,so everyone can understand what is written. We have learned a lot in the time ERA has been online, and have added many features that make the users experience easier, for example many users dont have anywhere to host their pictures, so they had problems inserting pictures into posts, so now you can upload pictures directly from your PC (for free),and display them in your posts. *** We have even started producing animated tutorials that guide you STEP BY STEP on how to use features in the forum (and in time reborning tutorials also), for example this tutorial  on how to use the image upload facility. A spell checker was also added, so you can quickly make sure there are no glaring mistakes in your post, and a newsbar at the top of the forums where you can quickly see important news and messages. ***Recently we also created a toolbar, which lets you jump quickly to ERA's forum,check your emails,receive messages directly from ERA,listen to the radio, and block popups. The toolbar is free, and proving popular with our members.  One thing that is a problem in all forums, is the risk of misunderstanding between members, other members can't see if you are smiling or frowning when you make a post, so what may be a light hearted comment to one person runs the risk of being taken the wrong way by another person. ERA has moderators and admins who can step in should a problem develop, but it also has a great range of smileys, or emoticons which members can use to let people know if they are happy or sad, joking or angry. We have added emoticons for occasions, emotions, actions and more -and using them helps people understand the tone of your post. Should a misunderstanding occur, we recommend you realise that usually the other person meant no offence, and a simple PM (private message) to them expressing your concern will reveal no offence was meant. If you ever have a problem on the forum, try resolving it privately with the other member concerned, and if that does not help, then you can always ask a moderator to intervene. Thankfully though, we have had zero problems like this, as the forums are a friendly place to be, and everyone follows the rules - which are there for everyones benefit and protection. What else is on ERA? Many members use the gallery, its a great way to let others see your work, and people can vote on your work, as well as leave comments on it. This peer review allows you to get valuable feedback from others who are reborners, and its free, no hosting charges for your pictures on ERA. So if you want to get feedback on your work,or just show off your latest creation, just check out the galleries. Even if you dont have any pics to post, you can view what other members have posted, and leave them feedback on there work. Its not all work though, ERA has its own arcade, where you can sit back and relax playing a great range of games, either trying to beat your own high score, or to beat someone elses so you have the top score on ERA. The arcade is a popular feature, and a nice place just to relax after a hard dayswork, with games ranging from shoot-em-ups to mind challenging, funny or skill based. Other features include a Birth Certificate generator, ERA cards, a template creator,where you can create many beautiful templates for your auctions and websites, and more, with new features being added on a regular basis, so if our group have any ideas fornew features, they let us know so we can consider them.
