The Guild of ERA is a non-profit, membership association of independent artists, founded in 2005 ,and is an active association of professional , semi professional, and amateur artists.  We are one of the largest U.K based international Reborn guilds, which is recognised throughout the world as the premier guild for promoting the arts of reborn doll making,which is continually experiencing continous growth in the reborn world  ~ Our Mission ~ It's mission for it's members is to serve as a educational, cultural and entertaining ,caring , sharing and friendly enviroment. Our other mission, which is recognised thoughout the reborn community is our goal to bring the reborn community together, as we class them all as one, and equal to one another.We do not think too highly of ourselves as to dictate to our members that they must discriminate fellow artist or other guilds,or groups, therefore ERA has no limitations on affiliations with any other guilds.We do not impose any such limitations on our members as we like to think our members or mature enough to make their own minds up where they like to visit. ERA is not a dictatorship.Therfore members are permitted to have affiliations with other groups and guilds.The ERA Guild has affiliation links with companies , societies , groups and associations who promote , and sponsor ERA, who are based in the USA, CANADA, GERMANY, and many regions of the UK.Such as...Collie.com, Secrist Doll Company, PRA*ISE, Bloomers n Bows, The Doll Site, CAPAG, TRAND, BRATT, ROSE, Reborns R Us, You can view these on our links page ~ Our Aims ~ Our aims are to exhibit the work of our members and make a positive contribution towards the cultural development of the art Reborning , doll sculpting and doll couture, and to promote their work collectively.Also we aim to make a valueable positive contribution towards the cultural development of these fine arts The Guild draws upon its talented, exclusive and diverse range of members to share and nurture others in this feild, where all members are available to discuss everything from their techniques to their inspirations. ~ Membership ~ Membership of ERA is granted to those who strive to Reborn & Sculpt Dolls to a high standard,and those who wish to learn and improve their artwork.We also have Reborn Boutique members who make and Design unique Reborn couture, and we have members who provide reborn supplies.Although our main focus is Reborning , doll sculpting, & Reborn boutique , we also cover selling , marketing , photography and other related topics.We welcome members from any country, we have a International membership, but please bear in mind that this is an English speaking forum, so foreign members must post only in English. Once you are a Member /Reg member you must agree to abide by the following rules........ Always provide work of high quality .Always work with your customer in a fair, friendly and polite manner. Submit photos of each new work for sale for peer review and approval. Always describe your work accurately. Follow the forums own rules at all times. Once your membership has been approved, you will be entitled to the following benefits.Get access to information on everything from where to buy your supplies, which paints to use, how to mix your paints and cure them, how to root the hair, assembly, making fake formula , and paint effects.Have the help and guidence from artists of more experience, live support from the comfort of your own home.  You will be entitled to place the ERA logo on your website and or auctions. Free showcasing of your past and present work on our site. Artist profile page so you can introduce yourself. Access to the ERA forum for help and advice from other members. Ability to prove the quality of your work by showing membership. Access to the extra features on ERA (Business card & certificates generator ,Auction Template builder, Arcade, ERA Auction site, etc)   ~Membership Fees~ In order to cover the costs of running this guild, annual membership fees are charged. The fee is a small, nominal, token amount of £5 a year, for full members, and £2.50 a year for Reg users & leaner members , that helps to cover the cost of the hosting, support, development and maintainaince of the guild. It also helps to cover additional expenses for benefits provided to the members, such as promotions, competitions etc. It also helps to ensure that members are serious about the guild, and helps to stop spammers, trouble makers and timewasters from joining the forums to cause problems. ~Membership groups~  We have different levels of membership.~Learner~Learners are those who wish to join the guild to gain experience, and vital info ,and learn from professionals in their desired field. ~Registered Users~ This consists of a group who are Semi professional , and amature artists. When artists first join ERA this is the status you will be placed at until we can asses you for full membership. Reg users must undergo the Guild's rigorous standards process before gaining full membership to ERA.Reg users must work extremely hard to gain their full membership, respecting and upholding our standards and ethics ~Full Member Artists~These are a group of Professional Artists.  Each member artist has been juried through the Guild's rigorous standards process, which ensures excellence and distinction in their feild of work. ~The Elite Artists~ We take great pride in introducing these artists—leaders in their fields These artists have highly excelled in reborn artistry and the industry , as a reborn artist, doll sculptor, or creator of doll couture . Elite membership is strictly by invitation only. ~~~~~~******~~~~~~~ The art of reborning improves from year-to-year, and only the dedicated reborn artist will strive to learn use of all new meterials and mediums, as they come to develop!It takes just one artist to provide a bad quality doll to a customer to risk putting that customer off reborn dolls for life, and it also gives the whole scene a bad reputation. Our members promise to always provide quality dolls, ensuring the customer is satisfied with their purchase. Should any members quality of work drop, then membership will be reviewed, especially if complaints are received.
